  1. aA fantastic, and well thought out list. I grew up a Royals fan, but moved to Connecticut in 1986 and a certain person sitting behind me in 8th Grade Social Studies (perhaps the only Sox fan in what seemed like an entire school full of Mets fans) started me down the path of Red Sox fandom. I still celebrate the late 70's early 80s Royals teams and love seeing guys like Fitzmorris, Gura, Splitorff & Busby make the list as they aren't big names, but were big parts of those 70's & 80's Royals teams!
